One Piece Card Game OP-17 Lottery Release Details Announced

Bandai Namco has officially announced that the sale of OP-17 at local card shops will be conducted through a lottery system. This is the ensure the safety of both customers and staff during this highly anticipated event.

Bandai Namco has officially announced that the sale of OP-17 at local card shops will be conducted through a lottery system. This is the ensure the safety of both customers and staff during this highly anticipated event.

In an official announcement, Bandai Namco shared that a lottery application period will begin on August 12, 2026 at 8 am PDT/10 AM CDT/11 AM EDT and will go on until August 18, 2026 at 8 pm PDT/10 PM CDT/11 PM EDT.

The official lottery application pages for the participating card stores are already live through the platform Zaiko, where users will need to make an account in order to enter the draw. The lottery application is free, and winners will be notified by email on 8/21/2026 with instructions on how to claim their ticket.

There are additional rules to the lottery, including how customers can apply for multiple time slots, but will only be able to reserve one time slot if chosen.

Chosen customers will also be limited to purchase one booster box per ticket, and one box per person. Even if a customer wins multiple tickets, they will still only be able to purchase one booster box.

Additionally, Bandai Namco says the plastic seal from booster boxes will be remove in order to prevent resales, and customers may refuse sales to anyone suspected of purchasing more than one booster box.

The list of several participating stores includes card shops in Texas, New Jersey, Illinois, California, Ohio, and New York. You can see a full list of stores in Bandai Namco’s announcement page.

Bandai Namco is heading into a busy period with the release of OP-17 coming fast. Plus the company is also readying its Naruto Trading Card Game as well, the first details were announced at GenCon.
