Fresh off the launch of OP-17 The World’s Strongest Warriors, the blazing-hot One Piece market has finally started to settle down. Players have mostly built their decks of choice, while collectors have already either pulled, acquired, or decided to wait on their major chase cards.

Luckily, that normalization has made it easier to tell what cards are really standing out, from the most sought-after pulls of OP-17, to the trending chase cards that have today’s collectors most excited.

Here are the top trending One Piece cards of September 2026, and why they made the list.

OP-17 Leader Hunt

Top Hits: Rocks.D.Xebec (039) (Alternative Art), Monkey.D.Luffy (079)(Alternative Art).

Nico Robin (062) (Parallel)

The newly released Big Mom Pirates cards were a huge boon for Nico Robin, a Leader that’s now been around since OP-09. Since OP-17 dropped, she's become one of the strongest Leaders in the game, and that newfound competitive relevance, paired with her appeal as a character in the anime and manga, has produced one of the biggest price spikes of the set.

Portgas.D.Ace (001) (Alternate Art) - The Time of Battle (OP16)

Ace is another Leader who got a major glow-up in OP-17. His Leader effect gives Rush to Characters with 8000 power or more and pairs perfectly with an ultra-powerful new Whitebeard card that just released, which has sent this fan-favorite alt art climbing.

Vander Decken IX - Wings of the Captain (OP06)

The biggest surprise of the set so far, Vander Decken has had a potentially overpowered ability since the day it released: by discarding a Fishman type card from your hand, you can K.O. any rested Character. Those conditions - that you need to run Fishman and discard a card from your hand, always kept him from playability. Then came OP-17 Mihawk, whose absurd card draw, combo potential with the new Shanks SR, and ability to easily run Fishman in the form of Kawamatsu, made Vander Decken into a game-changing tech card, and a $7 Rare early in the set.

We're Going to Claim the One Piece!!! - 500 Years in the Future (OP07)

With the release of the purple Kaido deck in OP-17, multiple viable decks got new reasons to run this Rare searcher: Pudding, Kaido, and even Katakuri. Since it’s often run as a full playset, that’s turned it into a $6 Rare.

Dracule Mihawk (2026 PSA Magazine Promo) - One Piece Promotion Cards (OP-PR)

Considered by many to be the best deck of OP-17, Dracule Mihawk got a new and rare alt art Leader via a PSA Magazine promo that launched not long before his rise to the top of the meta. Timing is everything: what was a niche magazine insert is now a valuable find, especially for competitive players who want their Leader to look the part.

Bad Manners Kick Course (Alternate Art) (PRB02)

0-cost 3000-power Counter Events are their own archetype of card in the One Piece Card Game. Every color gets at least one, and each carries its own quirk tied to that color's identity. This alt art of red's version has spiked as players find homes for it in decks like RB Sabo and RG Luffy & Ace.

OP-13: Carrying on His Will

Top Hits: Monkey.D.Luffy (118) (Super Alternative Art), Portgas.D.Ace (119) (Super Alternative Art).

Monkey.D.Luffy (119) (SP) (Gold) - A Fist of Divine Speed (OP11)

The Silver SP version of this card, which is out there in greater numbers, still fetches a price of about $6,000 ungraded, but it’s the gold details on this one that make this one such a grail; the card itself looks like the luxury item that it’s come to be.

Red Manga Luffy OP13-118

As the chase card of one of the most prestigious sets ever released, this special Red Manga Rare Luffy is the collector’s dream; a classic side profile of Luffy in his base form, and likely the most classic depiction of the character on such a high-value card.
